Experience

My career journey has given me opportunities to work as a public accountant, assistant controller, and eventually Director of Foundation Finance and Operations at a nonprofit hospital. In these different roles, I’ve gained skills in many areas of operations and accounting (including nonprofit fund accounting, 990 tax returns, and endowments). I’ve also worked with all levels of staff, customers and clients, and donors over the years. After 19 years of service in my directorship, I retired…and then eagerly joined DVI as a Benefits Coordinator and Senior Accountant in 2022.

What is your favorite thing about DVI?

I like that the DVI culture aligns with my personal and professional values, including integrity, accountability, and grace. I also appreciate that DVI values each Associate and the unique skills that s/he brings to the firm.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

This part-time position means I have time each week to babysit my grandson, and I also enjoy scrapbooking and memory keeping, quilting, and embroidery. Exercise and being active are also important to me.
