DVI, in partnership with Charles Schwab’s Technology Consulting team, will be hosting a live Q&A session. Our hosts, DVI Associates Devki Kasture and Zack Morgenstern, will anonymously relay your questions to cybersecurity experts Paul Ewing and Adam Moseley, who will provide you with actionable insights to enhance your online security.

The registration process takes place directly within the Zoom platform; all you need is a valid email address to register. Once you have registered, all further communications (registration confirmation, reminders, and links to join the webinar) will be sent to you via email from the DVI Zoom account. Space is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.


Before the Webinar

After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email from no-reply@zoom.us that contains the date and time of the webinar, a link to join the webinar, and an option to add the event with the join link to your calendar. If you choose not to add the event to your calendar, you may want to flag this initial email so you can easily retrieve it later. You will also receive a reminder email the morning of the webinar with the same information and join link. Be sure to check your spam folder if you are having trouble locating these emails in your inbox.

Joining the Webinar

Five to ten minutes before the webinar is scheduled to begin, open the calendar event, or locate either the confirmation or reminder email. Click on the provided link to join the webinar. If you have the Zoom app installed on your device, the app will launch automatically and take you to the webinar. If you don't have the Zoom app, you will join the webinar using your default browser.

Before joining the webinar, you’ll be asked to make sure your audio settings are properly configured. You can test your audio by clicking on the "Test Computer Audio" or "Test Speaker and Microphone" option in the pre-meeting window. Don’t worry if your microphone isn’t working; as a participant, you’ll be muted throughout the webinar.

Once your audio settings are confirmed, click the "Join Webinar" or "Join Meeting" button to enter the session. You will be placed in the webinar waiting room until the host starts the session. You can join the webinar at any point during the session. If you are running a few minutes late, or get disconnected for any reason, you can join (back) in, as long as space is still available.

In the Webinar

Once the webinar begins, you can submit questions using the Q&A function; the chat function will be disabled. Your name and questions will only be visible to DVI Associates and our expert panelists; however, you can choose to submit your questions anonymously if you prefer. Our hosts, DVI Associates Devki Kasture and Zack Morgenstern, will relay as many questions to our expert panelists as possible in the time allotted.

  • Creating & storing effective passwords/credentials
  • Utilizing 2-factor authentication and/or a Virtual Private Network (VPN)
  • Sharing information via email/text
  • What to do if you suspect a breach
